Sharps are any items or implements that have an edge or point that can cut or puncture and include syringes, razors, knives, lancets, scissors, fishing hooks, insulin pen tips, pins, broken bottles, scalpels and Epipens.
The locations of sharps bins are as follows:
- Bourke Primary and Community Health (PaCH) has a disposal bin near the building entrance and a new large bin has been installed at the entrance to the car park.
- Bourke MPS (Hospital) on the brick fence to the left of the main entrance doors.
- Coolican & Davidson Oval toilet blocks
- Wharf toilets
- Rotary Park
- BAHS at their Glen St entrance
