Local Heritage Fund
Bourke Shire Council, in conjunction with NSW Government, offers small grants on a $ for $ basis to private home owners for restoration and repair work. Conserving places of historic value is important to the whole community.
This is a good opportunity for owners of old houses to look at repairing or repainting their home. Some of the work that has received assistance in the past includes repairing verandas, internal and external painting and roof repairs.
Application for the 24/25 Local Heritage Fund are now open. You can pick up an application form from Council Office at 29 Mitchell Street Bourke, or download one below. Applications need to be into Council no later than 4pm on Friday 13 September 2024.
