The consumption of alcohol is prohibited within the levee of the township of Bourke, including all public roadways, footpaths and laneways.
The consumption of alcohol is prohibited within the village of Enngonia, including all public roadways, footpaths and laneways.
DECLARATION OF AN ALCOHOL-FREE ZONE
Notice is hereby given that Bourke Shire Council has declared an Alcohol-Free Zone to operate over all public roadways, footpaths and laneways within the village of Enngonia.
The Alcohol-Free Zone is to operate for a period of four (4) years from 1st November 2022 to 31st October 2026.
A person found drinking alcohol within the Zone after being warned not to by a Police Officer, may have their alcohol confiscated and disposed on the spot.
